Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards — such as encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS), role-based access controls, and routine security monitoring. We do not store plaintext passwords; all credentials are hashed using industry-standard algorithms.

Data Retention & Deletion

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Live-system data is purged or anonymized within a reasonable period after account closure or user request.

We may disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction.

We may disclose personal information that we collect or you provide as described in this privacy policy:

  • To contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business.
  • To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of our assets.
  • With trusted business partners when we jointly offer products or services — for example, a co-hosted webinar or event.
  • To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it.

Choices About How We Use and Disclose Your Information

We strive to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to us. We have created mechanisms to provide you with the following control over your information:

Those third parties may offer you ways to opt out of such collection or use. You can opt out of receiving targeted ads from members of the Network Advertising Initiative at the NAI opt-out page.
  • IR Portal Investor Preferences: Investors may opt out of IR email updates from individual companies.
  • Deletion Requests: You may request that we delete personal information (such as your name, email, or portfolio data) by emailing help@kingscrowd.com. We will honor verified deletion requests except where retention is required by law.

Information Sharing Within the Kingscrowd Corporate Group

For the purposes of this Policy, an "affiliate" means any entity that is directly or indirectly controlled by, under common control with, or that controls Kingscrowd, Inc. We may share personal information among our affiliates for the purposes described in this Policy.

We share information for purposes such as internal administration, unified customer support, analytics, combined product offerings, and — where you have not opted out — cross-promotional marketing. All Kingscrowd affiliates adhere to this Privacy Policy.

Marketing Opt-Out: If you prefer that we do not use your information for cross-promotional marketing by our affiliates, you may opt out at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in those messages or by contacting us.

Investor email addresses uploaded to the IR Portal are used primarily for company-specific, transactional updates, and — unless the investor has already created a Kingscrowd.com account or separately opted in — will not be used for general Kingscrowd marketing.
